AI in Teaching & Learning
Intelligent tutoring systems, AI teaching assistants and tools that support educators in and beyond the classroom.
Exploring the promise, practice and responsibility of Artificial Intelligence in education.
Overview
Artificial Intelligence is moving rapidly into classrooms, campuses and learning platforms — from generative tools and adaptive systems to new forms of assessment and analytics. The opportunity is real, but so are questions of quality, equity, integrity and institutional readiness. Education and AI is a focused, two-day forum to unpack these shifts with experts from academia and the Commonwealth of Learning, and to build shared understanding of how technology can support teaching and learning without losing sight of human judgement and access.
The symposium is organized by the Department - Center for Education Technology (CET), IIT Jodhpur, and supported by the Commonwealth of Learning, on 23–24 October 2026. It aims to create a platform where educators, researchers, policy makers, technologists and students can share ideas, research and practical experience on the use of AI in education.
Participation is free of cost.
