Getting There

How to reach IIT Jodhpur

The campus is located on NH 62 (Nagaur Road), about 22 km from Jodhpur city.

By Air

Jodhpur Airport (JDH) is the nearest airport, roughly 25 km from the campus.

Prepaid taxis and app-based cabs are available at the airport. Travel time to campus is typically 40–50 minutes depending on traffic. No dedicated symposium pickup is planned; participants are requested to arrange their own transfer.

By Train

Jodhpur Junction (JU) and Bhagat Ki Kothi (BGKT) are the main railway stations, both about 22–25 km from campus.

Auto-rickshaws, taxis and app-based cabs run regularly from both stations to IIT Jodhpur. Allow about 45–60 minutes for the journey.

By Road

Taxis and app-based cabs are available from the city. The campus lies on the Jodhpur–Nagaur highway (NH 62).

City buses and shared taxis also operate along NH 62. Follow signs for IIT Jodhpur / Karwar once you are on Nagaur Road.

  • Carry a valid photo ID and your registration confirmation.
  • October weather in Jodhpur is warm during the day and pleasant in the evening.
  • Please bring a laptop for the hands-on sessions; a modern browser and stable internet access are recommended.
  • Report at LHC 308 by 10:00 AM on 23 October 2026. On-campus dining options will be shared with confirmed participants.
